Guest post by Jenn Gosma In case you've missed it so far, you only have a couple of days left to check out the incredible exhibit Trash Talking at Mini Mart City Park. Trash Talking is an art show with 100+ life-size replicas of politically-charged objects by Michael Leavitt that throw a bright light on toxicity and waste. The show is colorful and interesting and laid out beautifully. The commentary and descriptions alongside the art leave the viewer with the artist's distinct and thoughtful point of view. Artist Michael Leavitt is a local, raised in the Central District. The show runs through Sunday, August 18, 12-5 pm.
